When to leave for Brussels Airport?
Brussels Airport advises arriving two hours before departure for flights within Europe (Schengen), and three hours for other flights.
From Ghent the drive takes about 50 minutes. On weekdays between 7 and 9 am there is often traffic on the E40 and the Brussels Ring. Leaving in the morning rush hour? Allow an extra half hour.
Example: a flight to Barcelona at 10:00. You want to be at the airport by 8:00, so we pick you up around 6:45.
